Education Consulting and Student Recruitment

Syntharis Group helps universities, colleges and other higher-education institutions attract the right students. The work covers four areas:

• Analysis of target groups, academic programs, competitors and markets.
• Positioning and messaging for the institution and individual programs.
• Marketing and student-recruitment strategies, nationally and internationally.
• Optimization of communication channels across the entire student journey, from the first search to enrollment.

We also build and run dedicated landing pages for programs, such as phdr-studium.de and doctoral-degree.com, that reach prospective students where they search.

By being visible and convincing in the markets it targets, and by making the path from interest to enrollment as easy as possible. That starts with choosing the right countries based on demand, competition and admission requirements.

Effective measures include program pages that answer the real questions of international applicants about fees, admission, visas, recognition of the degree and career prospects, content in the relevant languages, visibility in search engines and AI tools, targeted digital campaigns, trusted recruitment partners and fast, personal responses to inquiries. We help institutions build this into a structured recruitment plan with measurable goals.

Most research online long before they contact an institution. Prospective students compare programs on university websites, study portals, rankings, social media and review sites, and they increasingly ask AI tools such as ChatGPT which programs suit their goals and budget.

Several factors decide: reputation and accreditation, recognition of the degree in their home country, total cost, flexibility of study, career outcomes and the experience of current students. A university that answers these questions clearly and consistently across channels has a clear advantage.

Because many prospective students now start their search with a question to an AI tool rather than a list of search results. If they ask which universities offer a flexible doctoral program or an English-taught MBA, the AI names only a few institutions.

To be among them, an institution needs well-structured program pages, clear facts on fees, duration, admission and accreditation, consistent information across portals and credible third-party mentions. Syntharis applies its SEO and GEO methods specifically to higher-education marketing.

Yes. Our consulting suits universities, colleges, private institutes, business schools and professional training providers that want structured growth and more visibility in their market.

The principles are the same: clear positioning, a convincing offer for a defined target group and communication that reaches people where they make their decision. The measures are adapted to the size of the institution and its budget.

Before we recommend any strategy, we take time to understand your mission, your academic profile, your culture and the students you want to reach. We speak with leadership, faculty and admissions staff and, where possible, with current students and alumni.

Recruitment messages must be accurate and responsible. We do not promise outcomes an institution cannot deliver, because misleading communication damages reputation and leads to dropouts. The goal is to attract students who fit the program and succeed in it.

Yes. We work with institutions to define a clear identity, core messages and communication themes that appeal to prospective students, parents, employers and academic partners.

A strong higher-education brand is specific. It explains what makes the institution and its programs different, for example in teaching format, research focus, industry links or international orientation, and it proves these claims with facts, rankings, accreditations and graduate outcomes.

Both, depending on the market. In some countries, recruitment agents and education counselors play a major role in student decisions. In others, most students find their program online.

We help institutions choose the right mix and set quality standards for partners, including transparent information, ethical recruitment practices and clear agreements. Digital channels such as search, AI visibility, program landing pages and targeted campaigns strengthen every partner model, because students verify what agents tell them online.

Syntharis Group supports recruitment initiatives in Europe, the Middle East, including the UAE and the wider GCC, and other international markets, depending on the institution’s programs and admission requirements.

From Dubai, we are well placed for students from the Middle East, South Asia and Africa who look for study options abroad or for flexible programs they can combine with work. Our founder’s background in the German-speaking education market also supports institutions that recruit in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

We track the full funnel, not just clicks. Typical KPIs are inquiries, completed applications, admission offers, confirmed enrollments, cost per enrolled student, conversion rates between stages and the share of students from target markets.

Where possible, we also look at retention and completion, because recruiting students who stay and graduate is more valuable than filling places in the first semester. Results are reported against the baseline set at the start of the project.
